La Lucciola in Seminyak

Went there on our second night after arriving to Bali. My husband and I live in Bangkok where we have some truly great Italian restaurants to choose from. I can honestly say La Luciolla could easily compete with them. The place itself is set on the beach with a great view of the sunset if you come around 6 pm. We came without making a reservation, which I would recommend to do as it gets busy very quickly. The staff was very accommodating and did manage to get us a nice table upstairs with a great view over the beach. The food was fantastic and the service was absolutely great, we didn’t have to chase after our waiters at any time. The restaurant is more on a pricey side but it was so worth it. I would definitely recommend it for a lovely romantic dinner with some proper Italian cuisine.

Unfortunately when we went at 5:30 pm, the heat from the day combined with a lack of any breeze made the dining experience difficult to enjoy as I sweated profusely throughout the entire meal. It looked like at some point the restaurant had ceiling fans but they no longer exist and the air was stagnant the night we went. I would go back again for the food but I would either go on a breezier day or later at night once things have cooled down a bit outside.

First time visiting here, because a friend invited. I will not afford to pay for the food myself.The location is cool. Good dining setting. So even though it is full, one table to another is not disturbed by each other.When we arrived it seemed that it was full, so we were welcome to wait at a small garden-side table overlooking the beach for about 20 minutes, until there was an empty table available.When we got the table, I asked my friend to choose food for me. My friend ordered 7 types of food to share with the four of us.The food is amazing. It's delicious. Pork rib, baby pork belly, Wagyu, spaghetti, salad, and else.Satisfied.Only one minor incident, the waitress who poured drinks for friends spilled drinks, but he just left without apologizing. The rest is all fun.

Absolutely amazing place to have dinner!! Sitting on the second storey watching the sunset over the beach was just beautiful! Their food was all amazing as well, definitely will be back!

Lovely experience at the restaurant absolutely RUINED by the taxi staff outside the restaurant. Attempted to get into bluebird taxi parked in car park and was then aggressively told we weren't allowed to get that specific taxi as they didn't work for the company situated outside the restaurant. After explaining that I would not want to get out and walk over to the station with my broken foot in rain, was then forcibly removed from the taxi. Completely unacceptable, disgusting behaviour. Will be telling everyone I know not to visit to avoid this horrible behaviour.

Nice place to have dinner with beautiful sunset. Staff are all friendly and helpful. All dishes taste good but personally I think pasta need some improvement.

Absolutely stunning atmosphere. Right on the beach. Dinner starts at 5 and you should book a table although you cannot specify where you want to sit. So book and arrive at before 5 in order to get a table close to the beach and enjoy the sunset. It gets very busy from 6 onwards

Ate there last night. Had the zucchini blossoms and squid ink spaghetti. Pomelo cocktail. Diarrhea a few hours later. Great sunset views though. No fans, sweating buckets over dinner. Awesome ambiance but the diarrhea experience killed my enthusiasm.

Excellent – highly professional team for our experience. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Great decor and service.Food was fantastic as were the cocktails.Would highly recommend.

Peace ,calm and nice restaurant with great brunch and dinner menu. The coffee is fantastic . The staffs are really professional . Nice beach view with very strong ballinesse culture . There's a temple next door. Just realized that menu always changed everytime I come here . So you will never get bored. They are always beautiful. Love to come for brunch and enjoy the sounds of the ocean . Make me wanna stay forever.

Best restaurant in Bali. Have been there a few times, including on our honeymoon. Food is amazing, atmosphere is incredible and the sunset experience is straight from a romantic movie.Guys, definitely somewhere to propose to your girl at sunset.

Location, view and the atmosphere are absolutely nice! Loved the food was delicious. Staff are friendly and service was quick. I highly recommend it if you’re visiting Bali :)

La Lucciola was one of the best place we've had for the trip. The ambience and service was on point. The food was unique and great tasting, even better than some restaurants we had in Italy! Located right beside the Petintenget beach, you'll get the cool Balinese sea breeze to accompany you for dinner. The music selection was outstanding! I would recommend anyone who is in the area to try this place out!

La Lucciola is located on the beach in Seminyak, wonderful open air building over two floors. Food and service is impeccable, the pricing is reasonable. Five stars from us.

The best thing about this place is definitely the location, you have a very calming view on the beach and sea and with a bit of wind makes for a fantastic view with lots of people taking pictures on the grass in front of the restaurant. The staff is good and efficient. Disappointed that they only sell Prosecco by the glass and not by the bottle The menu is rich in options, however, the food is rather average. The pappardelle with beef was too sour and Cacio e Pepe was lacking flavor, had to add more pepper and a bit of salt. I have not been here for couple of years but would post pretty much the same review on my first visit 4 or 5 years back.

Amazing relaxing view. Came here often for breakfast. Service has been good, and so is the food and drinks. Kinda wish they have special of the day for breakfast too.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend, I am so happy we went. I read mixed reviews before our visit but I'm not sure why. The restaurant and sunset view is beautiful. He staff were attentive and food good. I would definitely return and have already recommended to friends.

Fantastic and authentic Italian food! The service was outstanding. Directly by the beach. Perfect for a date, quite romantic gateway. We had a table right in the front of the first floor. Will definitely come back.

Loved the ambience. Sitting at the 2nd level would be the best option as you can feel the breeze and enjoy the nice beach scenery. The foods were nice. I had a blueberry ricotta mascarpone hotcakes with fresh mango slices topped with coconut and tangerine sauce. Loved it!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Beautiful location right on the beach, beautiful vibe when the lights and candles are turned on, and the service was just spectacular. The food was 10/10 and a good price for such impeccable food. Go here!! (But make sure you make a booking)

Amazing produce goes into making this a authentic Italian meal! Good wine list and even after all these years they have maintained a refined experience in hoards of hipster hangouts and food fads. Well spaced tables and romantic music and ambiance. We loved the zucchini’s flowers stuffed with crab and prawn. Proper antipasti with buratta and heirloom tomato and the best artichoke I’ve had since Italy. Defiantly a romantic spot.. book a table upstairs for the best views

Their coconut bread with jam is the best.

Dont miss a chance to have a meal at La Lucciola. Such a great vibe, good menu selection and great prices. The view is spectacular of you are seated upstairs. The staff are amazing (they were on the two occasions i ate there)

I've been here last year with a friend of mine from Romania. We have our special quick dinner in here. The vibes, the foods and also the beverage are just awesome. and the place is really recommended for your romantic dinner. hopefully I can go back with him next year to this restaurant!💛

Great view! Staff amazing and yummy Italian based food. The lychee lime granita ( no lacohol) is fabulous !

My favorite place for a serene brunch by the sea. This timeless seaside restaurant frames the sea views with a luscious lawn, palm trees and a thatch roof. Cozy. Service always impeccable. The food can be light and fresh or seriously decadent, depending on your mood.

A most exquisite place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Service is superb, food is always delicious and cocktails are well worth tasting.

We went and had the most exquisite breakfast overlooking the beach. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak and the busy beach area, it’s a perfect oasis with amazing food and delicious coffee. Great service. Highly recommend.
